John Dumelo is a Ghanaian actor, farmer and politician. He was born on February 3, 1984, to Mr John Dumelo and Antoinette Dumelo in Accra, Ghana.

John Dumelo started his basic school education at Christ the King School and proceeded to Achimota Senior High School. He then pursued Civil engineering at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.

He started his acting career in the early 1990s at age 7. He started his political aspirations in 2019 when he made his intentions known to stand as the member of Parliament for the Ayawaso West-Wougon.

John Dumelo is married to Mawunya Nkornu. They had their grand wedding at Royal Senchi Resort in Akosombo. The couple has their first child in 2018, John Dumelo Jnr.
